Also known as Tyrian or royal purple, phoenician purple is a reddish purple dye made from sea snails which were boiled or milked for their color.

- works do not need to include the current issue's color prompt by name but we do hope you will utilize the color prompt for inspiration
- length limitations are as follows: articles 1000-2000 words, stories 5000 words, poems are a little more up for grabs
- while HUE cannot always publish in a variety of fonts we do want to consider your preference of formatting - if formatting is
particularly important to your piece please e-mail your submission, pasting the text into the body of the e-mail as well as
attaching a PDF version with appropriate formatting, to firstname.lastname@example.org
- for spot illustrations and other visual media please submit work by e-mail to email@example.com
